First Saturday of Summer Bar Hop

Bar hop at six bars in West Hollywood for charity; part of the proceeds will support the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation. A ticket buys a wristband, which qualifies the wearer for food and drink deals at the Belmont, Cabo Cantina, the Den, Fatty's, the Parlor and Rock & Reilly's. There will be interactive games along the way.

Rhone Rangers 2013 Los Angeles Wine Tasting

The Rhone Rangers bring more than 200 varietals of wine from 40-plus wineries for tasting. Tickets include admission and wine tasting; food will be available at separate cost. A silent auction will take place during the tasting, which benefits the Rhone Rangers Scholarship Fund.

Fifty-plus wineries, including Laurent Miguel, Louis Jadot, Layer Cake, Cantina Casteggio and Baron Herzog, will provide samples at this wine festival on the Santa Monica Pier. VIP attendees will have early access at 5 p.m.; all other ticket holders will be admitted at 6 p.m.
