Valley Greek Festival
San Fernando Valley's annual Valley Greek Festival brings together lots of food, many Greek marketplace vendors, lots of Greek musicians performing traditional and contemporary songs, dancers and, well, more food. Among the traditional Greek dishes available: baklava, melomakarona, moussaka, souvlaki, dolmathes, spanikopita, kataifi – and a lot more. Bring a can of food for the West Valley Food Pantry and get $1 off a food item or non-alcoholic drink.

MAINopoly: Taste of Main Street
The first of what organizers hope will be an annual food and drink event to raise funds for Summer SOULstice and Heal the Bay, MAINopoly is also a culinary tour of the restaurants, juiceries, coffee shops and bars of Main Street in Santa Monica. Participating restaurants include 3 Twins Ice Cream, Enterprise Fish Co., Finn McCool's, LuLa's Cocina Mexicana, M Street Kitchen, Manchego, Pressed Juicery, Rick's Tavern, Stella Barra, Sunny Blue and Tsukiji Sushi Sen.

Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tasting
Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tasting, the annual summer event curated by Silverlake Wine, kicks off on Friday, May 23. The Friday evening event will run until September. The evenings begin at dusk on the west lawn of the Hollyhock House. Silverlake Wine will present four selections of boutique, small-production, artisan wines from around the globe. Bring a picnic, or get food from one of the many food trucks that will be attending.
