DTLA Night Market
Brought to you by the 626 Night Market folks, this two-day food event will be in downtown L.A. this time, instead of in the actual 626 area code, where the extremely popular Asian street market began (and continues). Filled with arts, crafts, entertainment, music and food – lots and lots of food. Food vendors include Japadogs, Sticky Rice, Umaya Ramen, Mama Kim's Spicy Noodles, Lazy Ox Canteen, Sushi Akatora, Lotus Circles, Ramen Yokocho, Ginger Cakettes, Beijing Tasty House and many others.

WHEN: Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21, 4 p.m. to midnight.

COST: $7 presale, $10 at the door. Children 6 and under are free.]
Summer Wine Wednesdays at the Grove
Each Wednesday in June and into July, estimable wine shop Silver Lake Wine will be hosting a tasting event at the Grove in Mid-City. The two-hour event includes music, small bites and four selections of boutique artisan wines from around the globe.
WHAT: Summer Wine Wednesdays at the Grove
WHEN: Wednesdays, 7 to 9 p.m., through July 2.

COST: Tickets are $20 per person. $5 of each ticket will go to nonprofit the Art of Elysium.

Low Country Boil at Tavern
For one night only at Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne's Brentwood restaurant, chef de cuisine Amy Deaderick will cook a dinner inspired by her childhood in South Carolina. The prix fixe dinner includes Charleston-style shrimp and grits with Caledonian blue prawns; a Carolina seafood boil with crawfish, crab legs and Andouille sausage; and blueberry cornmeal cobbler with buttermilk ice cream.
