C-CAP Los Angeles: “The Dinner Party” Series at Lukshon
Chef Sang Yoon teams up with pastry chef Sherry Yard to host an interpretive Southeast Asian dinner party and auction at Lukshon. It's the second evening of series “The Dinner Party,” put on by the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP). Proceeds will help at-risk youth pursue a career within the culinary industry. Menu options include duck popiah with cilantro stems, pickled jicama and chile hoisin sauce; Atlantic fluke with white tea, kelp and caviar; Chinese eggplant with fennel raita and tomato sambal; chocolate beignet with Earl Grey tea ganache, streusel, black currant and chocolate ice cream. Bistro de la Gare 
For Club Culinaire U.S.' monthly dinner, Chef Bruno Morin presents fresh, organic French cuisine in a three-course bistro dinner at Bistro de la Gare. Kings Row Gastropub brings together smoked food and locally brewed beer from Smog City in its first beer dinner, planned to be a monthly series. Head chef Sunny Vohra and sous chef Gregory Schutt have paired six courses with Smog City's finest brews, with every dish boasting a different smoked food item – smoked beets, smoked clam chowder, smoked ducketta, smoked lamb curry.
