Mendocino County Crab, Wine & Beer Festival
Mendocino County kicks off Dungeness crab season with its 15th annual Crab, Wine & Beer Festival. This 10-day celebration will feature award-winning Mendocino County wine and beer and premium Pacific eats like traditional cioppino and gourmet seafood dinners. Highlights include a crabcake cookoff, a blind wine-tasting competition, whale watching, crabbing excursions and other countywide celebrations. Travelers are encouraged to explore the rugged coast with special offers at Mendocino County hotels, inns and restaurants.

La Brea Bakery 25th Anniversary

La Brea Bakery celebrates 25 years with the grand opening of its new bakery cafe on La Brea Avenue. Co-founder Nancy Silverton will join chef Keith Silverton for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by prize giveaways, special bread displays and complimentary samplings from the new cafe menu. The West Hollywood Chinese restaurant Chi Lin celebrates Chinese New Year with 50% off chef Tyson Wong's menu, featuring dishes to usher in good luck, fortune and longevity in the Year of the Horse. Dishes include 8-hour lacquered Peking duck, hand-pulled noodles with black truffles, filet mignon with crispy shiso leaf, assorted desserts and a special Chinese New Year cocktail.
