Coolhaus 5th-Anniversary Party
Coolhaus celebrates its 5th anniversary with food by Pizzanista and Free Range LA, a DJ set by Paul Tao of IAMSOUND, live music by De Lux and lots of ice cream sandwiches. Drinks will be provided, including an open bar, craft cocktails, kegs, Golden Road Brewing beer floats and cocktail Jell-O shots by Ludlows Cocktail Co. Proceeds will benefit 9 Dots, an afterschool tutoring program for underserved children centered on innovation and technology.

Chef Walkabout With Joe Miller
Join Joe Miller, Chopped champion and owner/executive chef of Joe's Restaurant in Venice, at the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market for a Chef Walkabout – a series of workshops hosted by Fighting Food Deserts, where chefs share their insights on how to best use seasonal produce from farmers markets. Proceeds of this event will benefit the WE Garden at Westminister Elementary School. Early registration recommended.

Thursday Night Markets at Sportsmen's Lodge
On May 1, the Sportsmen's Lodge launches the San Fernando Valley's first Thursday Night Market, an event that will bring together 50 vendors, 10 food trucks, a four-hour happy hour at Pool Bar, dinner specials at New Patio Cafe, live music and more. The event will take place on the first Thursday of every month, from now until October, in the front lot of the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel. Visit sportsmenslodge.com for more details.
