It’s a fantastic week for live events in Los Angeles. Over the next seven days, there will be an incredible assortment of things to do around the city including sporting events, concerts and comedy shows.

With so many fantastic events to choose from, we’ve put together a list of the Top 10 Live Events in Los Angeles for this upcoming week. We’ve also included pricing information for each of these events, but pricing information is subject to change as ticket prices may increase as these events draw closer.

WWE Smackdown – Friday, October 4

WWE’s weekly episodic wrestling show, Smackdown, makes its return to the Staples Center for a special 20th Anniversary Event. Friday’s show, celebrating the brand’s new television deal with FOX, will feature a match between Brock Lesnar and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship and an appearance from WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

NLDS Game 2 – Nationals at Dodgers – Friday, October 4

For the seventh season in a row, the Los Angeles Dodgers have made the Major League Baseball postseason. After experiencing heartbreak in the World Series in back-to-back years, the Dodgers are looking to secure the team’s first championship since 1988. They host the Nationals in the NLDS.

Marco Antonio Solis – Friday, October 4

Five-time Latin Grammy Award winner Marco Antonio Solis is in town for his “Y La Historia Continua” Tour, which will be the Mexican musician’s first-ever performance at The Hollywood Bowl. The Latin pop superstar’s romantic music has been celebrated around the globe, earning him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2010.

British singer-songwriter Marina’s “Love + Fear” tour is headed to Los Angeles this week for a show at the Greek Theatre on Friday. With three Top 10 UK Albums already under her belt, she’s gained quite a large following stateside. Canadian singer-songwriter Allie X will be performing as well.

Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience – Saturday, October 5

The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience is currently in the middle of its third United States tour, with a stop at the Hollywood Bowl scheduled for Saturday. Featuring music from the award-winning television program, this performance is quite special, as it will feature a live performance from series composer Ramin Djwadi.

Blue Man Group – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 4-6

Blending equal parts music, comedy, and performance art, the Blue Man Group has entertained over 35 million people worldwide – but they’ve never performed in Los Angeles until now. Their “Speechless” Tour is in town at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre until October 6, with matinee and late performances on both Saturday and Sunday.

Ali Wong – Saturday & Sunday, October 5 & 6

Comedian/actress Ali Wong is wrapping up the Los Angeles leg of her “Milk and Money Tour” with three performances taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Wong has been mighty busy so far this year, having released a book “Be My Maybe” as well as co-writing, producing and starring in the Netflix movie “Always Be My Maybe”.

Colorado Rapids at Los Angeles FC – Sunday, October 6

LAFC’s Supporters Shield winning regular season is set to come to an end on Sunday when the team will square off against the Colorado Rapids at Banc of California Stadium. LAFC will be looking to exact revenge as they fell to the Rapids 1-0 earlier this year out in Colorado.

Van Morrison – Sunday, October 6

Van the Man is set to return to Los Angeles for the first time in over two years when he performs at the Hollywood Bowl this Sunday. One of the true legends of music, Van Morrison’s fantastic catalog includes critically acclaimed albums such as Astral Weeks and Moondance as well as classic songs “Brown Eyed Girl”, “Domino”, and “Wild Night”.

Alec Benjamin –Wednesday, October 9

After recently releasing songs “Must Have Been the Wind” and “Jesus in LA”, pop singer Alec Benjamin is hitting the road, and one of his stops is at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood on October 9. Known most for his song “Let Me Down Slowly”, Benjamin is playing just a handful of shows stateside before heading to Europe in November.
