Yet again, it’s another fantastic week for live events in Los Angeles. Over the next seven days, there will be a fantastic assortment of things to do around the city, including sporting events, concerts and comedy shows.
With such a diverse offering of live experiences to choose from, we’ve put together a quick list of the Top 10 Live Events in Los Angeles over the next week. We’ve also included pricing information for each of these events, but pricing information is subject to change as ticket prices may increase as these events draw closer.
Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Lakers – Friday, October 25
It’s a fantastic week to be a basketball fan in Los Angeles, as the Lakers and Clippers will both play at the Staples Center twice over the next seven days. The Lakers will be hosting the Utah Jazz on Friday, in what should be a hard-fought matchup. The Jazz have made the playoffs in the Western Conference each of the past three seasons.

Hozier – Friday, October 25
Irish singer-songwriter Hozier will be stopping in LA this week as his “Wasteland, Baby!” Tour will see him perform at the Greek Theatre on Friday. The 29-year-old is best known for his hit multi-platinum hit song “Take Me to Church”. His latest album, Wasteland, Baby!, debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 back in March.

Mike Birbiglia – Friday through Thursday, October 25-31
Comedian Mike Birbiglia’s “The New One” tour has shifted to Los Angeles, as he’ll be performing several different times from now until Mid-November. “The New One” features Birbiglia’s comedic storytelling and focuses on his revelations he discovered after entering parenthood. This show will be a can’t-miss affair for comedy fans, as it was dubbed “genius” and “sublime” in a New York Times piece earlier this year.

Morrissey – Saturday, October 26
Britpop icon Morrissey is in town this week, playing the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday. The former Smiths frontman has toured this year in support of his recent album, California Son, which was released back in May. Since the Smiths disbanded in 1987, Morrissey has been a prolific solo artist, releasing 12 studio albums.

Incubus – Saturday and Sunday, October 26-27
California’s own Incubus are in town this week for two shows at the Greek Theatre, as they’re touring to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Make Yourself. The album, which feature’s the band’s signature hits “Pardon Me” and “Drive” went double platinum in the United States, selling over 2,000,000 copies.

J Balvin – Tuesday, October 29
Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin is set to conclude the American leg of his “Arcoiris” Tour on Tuesday with a performance at the Staples Center. Known best for his songs “Mi Gente” which featured Beyoncé and “I Like It” with Cardi B, J Balvin released a collaborative album called Oasis with Bad Bunny this June.

Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers – Tuesday, October 29
LeBron James, Anthony Davis and company are taking on the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday in the last game at the Staples Center before the team leaves Los Angeles for a three-game road trip. This game will be the first time Lakers fans can see Ja Morant, the dynamic point guard drafted No. 2 overall by Memphis earlier this year.

Thom Yorke – Tuesday and Wednesday, October 29-30
2019 has been a busy year for Radiohead frontman Thom York, as he released his solo album Anima earlier this year before embarking on his “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour”. The tour, which features Yorke playing both new and previously unreleased songs, will stop in Los Angeles for two shows at the Greek Theatre this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Vancouver Canucks at Los Angeles Kings – Wednesday, October 30
Hockey is back in town this week, as the Los Angeles Kings return home to the Staples Center after a three-game road trip. The Kings will welcome a talented Vancouver Canucks squad to town, which features three up-and-coming offensive stars in Bo Horvat, Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson.

San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Clippers – Thursday, October 31
After featuring two Lakers games this week, it’s finally time for us to give the Clippers some love. Kawhi Leonard and the Clips face a tough test this Thursday when they’ll take on the San Antonio Spurs – a team that’s made the playoffs in 22 consecutive seasons.
