Once again, it’s another fantastic week for live events in Los Angeles. This week has a bit of something for everyone as there are high-profile concerts, blockbuster sporting events and even a once-in-a-lifetime philharmonic celebration set to take place.
With such a diverse offering of live experiences to choose from, we’ve put together a quick list of the Top 10 Live Events in Los Angeles for the next seven days. We’ve also included pricing information for each of these events, but pricing information is subject to change as ticket prices may increase as these events draw closer.
Kane Brown – Friday, October 18
It’s an exciting week to be an LA-based country music fan, as both Kane Brown and Luke Combs are set to perform in the city this week. Brown, who will be playing at the Staples Center this Friday, has been quite busy over the past year as his album Experiment went #1 on the Billboard 200 charts thanks to singles “Lose it”, “Good as You” and “Homesick”.

We Can Survive Concert – Saturday, October 19
97.1 AMP Radio’s 7th Annual We Can Survive Concert will be taking place this week on Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl. The concert, whose ticket proceeds benefit breast cancer research, will feature megastar Taylor Swift as well as Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, the Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Marshmello and Becky G.

Arizona Wildcats at USC Trojans – Saturday, October 19
After a brutal pair of road games against top 25 ranked Washington and Notre Dame, the USC Trojans football team will return home to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to face the (4-2) Arizona Wildcats on Saturday night. This game could be a make-or-break affair for the Trojans, as they come into this week with a 3-3 record.

Calgary Flames at Los Angeles Kings – Saturday, October 19
The Los Angeles Kings five-game homestand is set to conclude this Saturday as they welcome the Calgary Flames to the Staples Center. These two Pacific Division teams have already played once so far this season, with the Kings defeating the Flames in overtime by a score of 4-3.

Leo Dan – Saturday, October 19
Argentinian-born singer Leo Dan is in town this Saturday, as he’ll performing at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The 77-year-old is one of the most well-known Spanish-speaking singer-songwriters in the world, having recorded more than 20 albums since debuting in 1963. His most recent album, Celebrando a una Leyenda was released back in 2018.

Jonas Brothers – Sunday, October 20
After going six years without recording an album, the Jonas Brothers released Happiness Begins this June, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The trio has hit the road touring to support the album, and their 91-stop tour is bringing them to the Hollywood Bowl this week.

Tool – Sunday, October 20
2019 has been a fantastic year for Los Angeles’ own Tool, who released their first album — Fear Inoculum — in over 13 years. Fear Inoculum is the band’s third US number-one album, selling over 270,000 album units in just one week. Singer Maynard James Keenan and the group will be performing at the Staples Center this Sunday and Monday.

Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers – Tuesday, October 22
Regular season basketball is finally upon us, and the NBA’s schedule makers have given us quite a treat for opening night – a battle between the two Los Angeles Franchises. The Clippers and the Lakers both made blockbuster moves this offseason as Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Clippers while Anthony Davis teamed up with LeBron James and the Lakers. Leonard and Davis are set to make their Los Angeles debuts in this tremendous opening night matchup.

Luke Combs – Wednesday, October 23
Nashville-based country singer Luke Combs is coming to Los Angeles this week, with a pair of shows at the Greek Theatre lined up for Wednesday and Thursday. Combs’ second album, What You See Is What You Get is set to release on November 8. His first album, This One’s for You, spent 44 weeks atop the Top Country Albums chart after releasing in 2017.

LA Philharmonic Centennial Birthday – Thursday, October 24
The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra are celebrating their 100th “birthday” this week with a truly unique show that utilizes three different conductors. The orchestra will feature an overture from Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg, music from Ravel’s La valse, Lutoslawski’s Symphony No. 4 and Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite. The final piece of the night will utilize all three of the conductors at once, making this a truly memorable event.
