Lomita Man Dies after Vehicle Collision on 405 Freeway
CARSON, CA (December 10, 2021) – On Monday, 39-year-old Tony Wilhite Jr. died and one other injured after a deadly car crash on 405 Freeway.
The accident happened at 12:20 a.m. December 7, along northbound San Diego (405) Freeway.
As per reports, the vehicle that Wilhite was driving went off the road and crashed into the side of northbound of the highway.
Tragically, responding officers pronounced Wilhite dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics took a 38-year-old Inglewood man riding as a passenger in the vehicle to the hospital with major injuries.
Further circumstances leading up to the accident have not yet been made available to the public.
