The Big Pink, the UK band responsible for catchy, fuzzy single “Dominos,” is riding high and they will be bringing their mesmerizing brand of hazy soul music to the El Rey tonight.

Only a couple of weeks ago, the duo blew everyone away at the NME awards (hosted by the bearded uncle, Jarvis Cocker) with a triple-stunt: 1) they brought in Lily Allen, 2) they had her medley “Dominos” with Carly Simon's “You're So Vain” and 3) ZOMG! POLE-DANCING ROBOTS!!!!!!

The pole-dancing robots have been wowing the art world for a couple of years now, but the televised NME awards has probably been their higest profile gig.

The Big Pink plays the El Rey tonight with A Place to Bury Strangers, Active Child, and recently added IO Echo.
