Jim Meehan is one of America's most respected bartenders. While it was far from the first, his New York City bar, PDT (short for Please Don't Tell) is often credited with making the speakeasy concept a trend. Since opening in 2007, PDT has become one of those bars cocktail nerds make pilgrimages to.

Well tonight, you needn't trek so far. Meehan will be behind the stick right here in L.A.

For one night only, Meehan will be mixing drinks at Picca, Ricardo Zarate's temple to all things swank and Peruvian. Joining Meehan will be L.A.'s own cocktail guru Julian Cox.

From 6-9 p.m., the two will be making drinks using pisco, rum, brandy and mezcal. Cocktails will be $10 a pop, which is quite the bargain, especially seeing as you're saving on plane fare.
