Welcome to Tommy Chong’s Favorites; today we will be reviewing Coldfire Roasters premium CBD-infused coffee — it’s got no THC and is packed with quality CBD and coffee beans.

Coffee and cannabis, surprisingly, activate the same regions of the brain. Or maybe not so surprising, since coffee and cannabis have been many people’s popular vices of choice for decades. Both consumables have similar histories and have been banned, ridiculed and rejoiced in over the past centuries. Both are also believed to have many health benefits too, from relaxation to feeling energized. So let us go through a little history of coffee and cannabis before we review Coldfire Roasters coffee products.

Native to the tropical east coast of Africa, coffee has won the hearts, minds and taste buds of millions worldwide. Today, coffee is cultivated in over 70 countries across the globe. It is also a major export commodity and a top legal agricultural export for many countries. Caffeine is the primary compound that gives you the hop in your step after a cup of coffee and will vary in potency depending on the type of coffee as well as the method of preparation.

Cannabis, on the other hand, is native to Central Asia, but has been spread across the globe, ironically through coffee merchants. Although cannabis has been prohibited in most countries for the best part of the last century it has still managed to be a popular vice of choice. Even in countries with harsh penalties when you’re caught with as little as a joint. Cannabidiol or more commonly referred to as CBD is a compound found in and extracted from cannabis. It is legal in all 50 states and is a fast establishing multi-billion dollar industry in the US and expected to grow to a whopping $2 billion by 2023.

“Hmmmmm, that is not bitter at all! You know how good it is, I would recommend this coffee to my wife.” —Tommy Chong

So, the entrepreneurs from Coldfire Roasters decided to combine the two popular commodities and created something exceptional. Their range of premium CBD ground coffee comes in two varieties, either Cuban or Colombian. The Cuban is a medium-to-dark roast that roars with flavor and aroma. While the Colombian is a medium roast with fruity tones and a zesty citrus undertone. Both ground coffees are packed with nano-hemp CBD and each bag contains 220 mg. Coldfire Roasters are also the first to create a CBD-infused espresso line of coffees. Their K-Cups come in either a Colombian or Cuban blend sealed with 10 mg of CBD per cup.

What I like about this company is that they work with both the coffee and cannabis from seed-to-sale through their providers. They are proud of the hemp and coffee plants they have been working and are in full control over the quality of the final product. Their coffees contain no THC, so don’t worry about getting high. CBD is non-psychoactive and does have many potential health benefits, just like coffee.

So there you have it, Coldfire Roasters premium CBD-infused coffee that’s easy to brew. You don’t need a coffee machine to brew your coffee. Ten mg. of CBD per cup is considered a decent dose for therapeutic use, so don’t worry about too much coffee and cannabis. About 2 mg. of CBD is lost during the brewing process, but this is to be expected due to the chemistry.

This coffee is merely for enjoyment and relaxation, with a little added CBD! After all, it is infused with good doses of CBD that will activate your body’s receptors for a better, healthier and more relaxed you.
