Taylor Farms of Tracy, Calif. is issuing a recall of some lots of tomatoes and salad kits that contain them because they may be contaminated with salmonella, according to the Associated Press.

The produce company issued the voluntary recall Saturday night, Sept. 13,  for Expo Fresh Roma tomatoes shipped to Costcos in Los Angeles and Hawthorne, as well as to Las Vegas and to Tacoma and Lynwood in Washington. Only tomatoes listed as packed on Sept. 5 or 6 are affected.

The recall also includes Sicilian Vegetable Salad, served at deli counters at Safeway, Vons and Pavilions grocery stores in California, Nevada and Arizona. The kits for the salad contained the tomatoes. Kits with use-by dates of September 20 and 21 are affected.

The company says the salmonella was found in routine testing and that no illnesses have been reported.

Taylor Farms has been associated with several recalls for salmonella in the past few years, including bagged spinach and salads in 2011 and 2012.
