A charming little Las Vegas (of course) art gallery is auctioning off a set of paintings by everyone's favorite serial killer clown, John Wayne Gacy.

The show is called “ZOMG Pay Good Cashmoney for Crappy Prison Art by a Killer Clown LOL!!!” Actually, it's not called that (though it should totally be). Instead the gallery is going classy and academic calling the show “Multiples: The Art of John Wayne Gacy” and they hired some reprehensible eggheads to deliver lectures on “art brut” and “outsider art.”

Gacy's artwork, endorsed by his estate, features clowns, Disney characters, the occasional Skeletor (from Master of the Universe), and this charming portrait of Elvis Presley:

What do you think? Would you pay a lot of money for crappy amateur art if it has an interesting backstory?
