We're not sure what they're teaching kids down in Manhattan Beach, but they sure are smart. Take the case of 18-year-old Kevin Manuel Duron who, police allege, went to his local elementary school and tried to collect urine from boys in the bathroom there.

Police think that Duron, a recent high-school graduate from the area, was trying to get untainted pee to help him pass a drug test, according to the Daily Breeze newspaper. Manhattan Beach authorities say the teen offered two boys money for their urine, but they refused. He tried to get one third-grader to pee in a cup, police reported

Police told the paper they arrested the former Mira Costa High School student when he returned to Pacific Elementary School Monday, ostensibly to give his alleged, clean-pee-solicitation scheme another shot. Authorities were already trying to track the teen down via surveillance video that captured the pee-seeking suspect on campus Friday when Duron allegedly walked into a boy's restroom Monday.

When school officials confronted him he said he was on campus to give his little brother lunch money, but they discovered he did not have a little brother at the elementary school, according to the Breeze. Duron was arrested on suspicion of child annoyance and was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
