Hailed as ‘The Queen of Amazon’, Athena Severi, one-half of the founding duo of the Titan Network, is a prime example of what dedication in an otherwise male-dominated industry looks like. The entrepreneur, who possesses a commanding presence under the spotlight and on social media, is a constant shining star and inspiration for budding female entrepreneurs.
“I want to inspire the women who look up to me, and I want to remind my sons not to judge anyone for their looks. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, however, as she has taken the spotlight as an advocate for change and inspiring women to propel their respective businesses and careers, minus the possible stereotypes and prejudices associated with being a woman in the business realm.
Severi’s Path to Titan
Severi spent eight years serving others in the non-profit sector. Having landed at the Titan Network, which she co-founded with Dan Ashburn, was a dream come true because it allowed her to take on a larger role in sharing her knowledge and helping others succeed in the Amazon space.
A renowned public speaker, Severi had previously sought to advance her corporate career before co-founding Titan Network. Her innate ability to inspire and light a fire in entrepreneurs to achieve their goals, paved the way, however, for a new career path.
“I wasn’t getting ahead and achieving what I wanted to. I felt like I wasn’t being a good mom or meeting my career goals professionally,” she recalled. “Something had to give, and it turned out that Amazon was the vehicle to help me find time and location freedom.”
Severi began speaking and providing mentorship programs in her own home, but her audience quickly began to grow to the thousands, landing her on even bigger stages. She offers budding female entrepreneurs and those aspiring to become C-suite executives advice and best practices, advanced tactics and helps them all alter their mindsets.
A chance meeting with Ashburn and co-founding Titan Network proved pivotal in cementing her status as a leading female figure in the Amazon e-commerce space.
“Titan is unlike anything else and could never be duplicated. As well as having the best minds in the Amazon industry as mentors, we have the unfair advantage of being an incredible family too,” Severi stated. “Everyone who’s a part of Titan is doing it because of a passion and purpose to help others succeed, it’s become a real movement that produces incredible results.”

There is always a risk in building a company, but more importantly, confidence and diligence are both needed to overcome the fear of taking the first steps. Severi wants those with self-limiting beliefs to find comfort, as she did, and reach their true potential.
