57-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near East Highland Avenue

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 3, 2022) – Early Tuesday evening, 57-year-old Timothy Orwig was killed in a pedestrian crash on Valencia Avenue.

The crash happened near the intersection of North Valencia Avenue and East Highland Avenue around 6:20 p.m.

Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck Orwig as he was walking in the area. Following preliminary investigations, crews did not determine whether or not the victim was in a designated crosswalk. 

Due to the impact of the crash, the male pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced Orwig dead at the scene.
