Multi-Vehicle Crash near Crenshaw Boulevard Kills 23-Year-Old Man

SANTA MONICA, CA (March 13, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, Timothy Billberry was killed in a fiery collision on the westbound Santa Monica Freeway. The incident was reported around 2:00 a.m. on 10 Freeway near Crenshaw Boulevard. According to multiple witnesses, the involved vehicles traveled at a high rate of speed before the collision. However, the circumstances that led up to the crash and the total number of vehicles in the wreckage remain unclear. Later, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified a deceased victim from the incident as 23-year-old Timothy Billberry. No further details regarding the 10 Freeway fiery crash have been released to the public at this time. Santa Monica Officials will provide more information once available.
