43-Year-Old Man Airlifted after Pedestrian Accident near 5th Avenue

JAMESTOWN, CA (May 26, 2022) – Thursday morning, Judy Johnson struck Timothy Allen Sheffield in a pedestrian crash on Highway 108.

Authorities responded to the scene around 10:00 a.m., near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Highway 108

According to reports, 43-year-old Sheffield was standing on the eastbound lane’s shoulder, attempting to cross. There, a 2016 Ford Focus made a left turn onto the road and struck Sheffield.

Upon impact, Timothy Allen Sheffield sustained serious injuries. Responding medics airlifted him to Memorial Medical Center for further treatment. Meanwhile, the Ford driver, 73-year-old Johnson, of Jamestown, remained unharmed.

Officers confirmed that no charges were made against Johnson. Following investigations, crews ruled out drugs/alcohol as potential factors.
