Check out these faux timber wolves. I went to a taxidermy art show last week, and so today I was googling for taxidermy items and came across these guys. The description from the fellow selling them reads: “Three realistic lifelike new furry animal replicas handcrafted with thick, soft domestic farm raised common European rabbit (oryctolagus cuniculus) fur and realistic eyes and teeth.” They are certainly realistic, except they are only about a foot long and four inches tall.

Also, how lovely is the irony of timber wolves made from the fur of rabbits?

The person selling them also makes jackalopes. Aah-dorable! And just a little bit disturbing.
