Skylight Books will feature an appearance by Stephen Elliott, whose new book, The Adderall Diaries: A Memoir of Moods, Masochism, and Murder, is spun from a sensational Bay Area homicide. Its jacket calls the Diaries a “journey through a neon
landscape of false confessions, self-medication, and torturous sex . . . [s]et against
the backdrop of a nation at war, in the declining years of the Silicon Valley
tech boom and the dawn of Paris Hilton's celebrity.” No less an expert than Jerry Stahl praises Elliott for rendering “the extremes of his own existence with a fearless, through-the-windshield immediacy. David Cullen
At almost the same time, David Cullen appears at Book Soup to present Columbine, a nearly decade-long research project into the infamous Colorado high school shootings carried out by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.
