Three historic Los Angeles hotels are offering safe and sane staycation jaunts for those  who want to soak up a little bit of history and take a break from the new normal.

On Friday, August 14, the iconic Hotel Figueroa turns 94 and will celebrate with a ‘”Suite Summertime Stay” offer available through the end of the year, as well as the debut of a collection from local featured artist Stephanie DeAngelis in collaboration with global art marketplace Society6. Highlights include:

  • A $50 dining credit to the hotel’s new outdoor poolside eatery, Veranda Al Fresco, which recently launched a brand new menu of Mexico City-inspired fare from Executive Chef Adrian Garcia, including street tacos, esquites, squash blossom quesadillas and cocktails to match, like non-alcoholic and boozy paletas.
  • Veranda Al Fresco offers contactless in-room ordering and poolside service via the hotel’s new app.

  • Discount of up to 30% off for those who choose to keep the party going and extend their stay beyond one night.
  • Exclusive access to Hotel Figueroa’s famous coffin-shaped pool (with chairs spaced 6+ feet apart and fresh towels placed on fully sanitized chairs between uses).

  • Rigorous cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms and public spaces, including cutting-edge UV sterilizer technology.

The Hollywood Roosevelt has reopened its doors with a variety of promotions to help travelers find their urban escape this summer season, featuring:
