Single-Car Accident near Carbondale Road Left Two Children and One Adult Dead

AMADOR COUNTY, CA (March 7, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a car vs. tree crash on Irish Hill Road claimed the lives of three people, including two young boys.

The incident happened around 1:54 p.m. on Irish Hill Road and Carbondale Road.

Investigators said a Toyota Echo lost control while going at a high rate of speed and collided with a tree in unincorporated Amador County. The impact of the collision left the occupants of the Echo with serious injuries.

First responders arrived to the site of the collision shortly after. Medics then announced that the 40-year-old driver and his 5-year-old and 7-year-old passengers died in the car vs. tree crash on Irish Hill Road. At this time, no further information is available regarding the incident. Officials will release more details once they become available.
