Traffic Crash near Civic Center Drive Left Three Injured, One in Critical Condition

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 4, 2022) – A vehicle crash near East Cheyenne left three people injured Friday evening.

The crash happened near Civic Center Drive and East Cheyenne after 11:30 p.m., reports say.

Furthermore, as per preliminary investigation, a red Ford Mustang driving Westbound on Cheyenne failed to yield to a Silver Ford Fusion heading eastbound, while turning left into a shopping plaza.

Meanwhile, the Fusion, driving at a high speed, collided with the Mustang. The driver of the Mustang and his passenger were ejected from the vehicle.

The male driver of the Mustang in his 50’s sustained serious injuries.

Moreover, the male passenger of the Mustang in his 30’s and the female driver of the Fusion in her 30’s were both transported to UMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

As of this time, the factors involving the crash believed to be an impairment, speed and not wearing of seatbelts.

An active investigation is currently underway.
