Traffic Accident on Lake Cachuma Left Several Hurt

SANTA BARBARA, CA (March 11, 2022) – On Monday afternoon, police responded to a vehicle collision on Highway 154 that injured three people.

The collision occurred around 1:50 p.m. on westbound Highway 154, just west of Lake Cachuma.

Meanwhile, two of the three people suffered serious injuries, and one person sustained minor injuries.

Moreover, paramedics transported all of the victims to local hospitals.

Medical personnel airlifted one of the victims while the other two were transported by ground ambulance.

As a result, the collision prompted the closure of all lanes along Highway 154. Motorists were advised of traffic delays traveling through the area as they clean up the crash scene.

However, the lanes reopened shortly afterward.

Circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated by authorities.
