3 Victims Hurt in Auto Collision on Avenue 61 in Thermal

THERMAL, CA (December 3, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on Harrison Street left three people injured, early Friday evening.

The Riverside County Fire Department responded to the incident reported around 5:07 p.m., at the intersection of Harrison Street and Avenue 61.

Upon arrival, officers located two people who sustained serious injuries and one with moderate injuries at the scene. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.

California Highway Patrol closed Harrison Street between Avenue 61 and Avenue 62 to investigate the two-vehicle crash. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
