Oak Park Two-Vehicle Accident on Chollas Road Left Multiple Casualties

SAN DIEGO, CA (February 16, 2023) – Sunday morning, a two-vehicle accident on Chollas Road left at least three people with injuries.

Emergency personnel responded to the incident around 10:51 a.m. at the 3100 block of Chollas Road in the Oak Park neighborhood.

Upon arrival, officials learned that a northbound red Nissan allegedly crossed into the opposite lane.

Consequently, the Nissan driven by a woman with her grandchild collided with a black Volkswagen SUV going south with a child passenger.

Paramedics transported at least three patients to Paradise Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

In addition, the two-vehicle crash blocked both directions of Chollas Road for about an hour.

San Diego Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and will release additional updates as they become available.
