Single-Car Accident on Alta Murrieta Elementary School Left Three Fatalities

MURRIETA, CA (July 12, 2023) Saturday evening, a solo-vehicle accident on Whitewood Road left three people dead and one person injured. Police responded to the fatal crash around 11:10 p.m. at the parking lot of Alta Murrieta Elementary School at 3900 Whitewood Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a white four-door Tesla on fire with a lone male occupant outside suffering from serious injuries. Eventually, paramedics rushed the man to a local hospital for immediate medical treatment. His condition remains unknown. In addition, responding units from Murrieta Fire Department found three victims inside the vehicle after they extinguished the flames. Unfortunately, the victims, including the driver, were pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the circumstances that led up to the incident and the identities of the parties involved remain undisclosed.
