Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash near North River Road

BONSALL, CA (August 17, 2022) – Sunday morning, a three-car collision on State Route 76 left three injured and chemicals spilled on the road.

The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m., near North River Road. According to reports, a Chevrolet Astro van struck the back of a Ford F-150, which then rear-ended the car in front of it.

Due to the impact of the collision, the Ford spilled one gallon of muriatic acid and one gallon of hydrochloric acid that it was transporting. Three people sustained injuries in the crash.

Emergency and hazmat crews arrived shortly after to clean up the spill and keep it from contaminating waterways.

Paramedics then transported one victim to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Meanwhile, two other injured victims refused medical attention.
