Thousands poured into the streets of East Pasadena on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 to view the Rose Parade floats on display. The floats were spread across about 1 mile of walking on Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards — despite the large area, the streets were continuously packed on both days of viewing. Tournament of Roses “White Suiters” were on hand to deliver details about floats to curious guests.
