Rob Schrab has carved out a pretty successful career for himself in comedy, as a creative force behind The Sarah Silverman Program, Monster House and more. As with most creative talents, however, he's got tons of other ideas that for whatever reason never made it off the ground. Many of them are “sci-fi, horror and animation” oriented, which kind of screams for a coffee-table book, doesn't it? (You can display it next to your copies of Scud: The Disposable Assassin, Schrab's indie comic that did actually make a splash.) Meltdown Comics hosts a book-release party for But … I Can't Do Anything Else!, a collection of concept art from Schrab's many aborted masterpieces of awesome. To coincide, the evening boasts a comedy show featuring his pals Steve Agee, Kumail Nanjiani, Community creator Dan Harmon and others (including some surprise guests TBA), as well as a selection of short films. Pick up a copy of Schrab's book from Meltdown and your admission is free.
