54-Year-Old Victim Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision on Fairview Avenue
TUCSON, AZ (March 10, 2022) – Saturday evening, a pedestrian crash on Prince Road claimed the life of Thomas Joseph Lemburg.
Officers responded to the scene just after 9:30 p.m., in the 1100 block of West Prince Road.
Lemburg, who was reportedly running across the lanes from north to south of Prince Road, was fatally struck by an unidentified driver.
Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics later pronounced Lemburg dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the vehicle that struck Lemburg fled the scene before the officers arrived. Local officers are now searching for the runaway driver as well as the involved vehicle.
At this time, an investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
