While everyone else is scrounging for 15 minutes of fame, Chris Elliott settles for 11. That's how long his new live-action comedy Eagleheart lasts on Adult Swim — blink from the tears of laughter and you'd almost miss it. Tonight, Elliott appears with the cast and creators of Eagleheart for a sneak peek of the show's second season. Produced by Conan O'Brien's production company Conaco, Eagleheart is essentially a hyper-violent parody of Walker, Texas Ranger, with Elliott playing a gleefully sadistic U.S. marshal alongside clueless and strait-laced partners Brett and Susie. Eagleheart is just the latest in a long line of Elliott's subtly chortlesome meditations on fame. It's followed by an audience Q&A with cast and creators, no doubt revealing the answers for many burning questions — not the least of which is “Would you like to buy a monkey?” Cinefamily, 611 N.
