It's not too late to catch the second weekend of Palm Springs Modernism Week. The annual celebration of all things midcentury modern has literally dozens of tours a day, a special-edition print by Shag, parties and a convention hall filled with treasures waiting to be scooped up. Just 100 miles from Los Angeles, it is an easy day trip for any fan of midcentury architecture. We toured the Moroccan House, the Hidden Frey and the Glass and Steel House, and took a peek into a little treasure that will be going on the auction block on Feb. 28: the Wave-Roofed House by Walter S. White. Take a look inside a few of the homes of Modernism Week, then plan a day trip for yourselves.
