Snow Day L.A. is Los Angeles' very first winter tubing park, bringing a wintry scene to a section of Elysian Park. With bubble snow, hot chocolate, penguin onesies and plenty of photo ops, Snow Day aims to bring the magic of winter to Los Angeles (where it was 92 degrees on Thanksgiving). Each weekend, a different variety of food trucks arrives with everything from churros to pizza and, of course, hot chocolate, hot apple cider and beer.

Snow Day L.A. tubing park is open from 6 to 10:30 p.m., Friday through Sunday, through Dec. 16 (but tickets sell out early).
