Australian-born DJ and producer Fisher had the capacity crowd at Academy L.A. dancing all night long on Saturday, Nov. 10. With an epic opening performance from Dillon Nathaniel, the packed club was transformed into a “fish bowl” in reference to Fisher's Catch and Release Records. Fans came rocking their favorite Fisher catch phrases (“YA kidding!”/”We f*ckin love it!”) and trademarked Hawaiian shirts.
After a string of hit singles (“Crowd Control”/”Losing It”), Fisher has created a massive following with his wild house and techno vibes and genuinely funny Instagram. Saying the crowd was obsessed with him is an understatement. This is the only show where I saw dudes sitting on each other's shoulders to get a better view.
Fun fact: Fisher is a former pro surfer.
