We've given more ink to Betty White than to Henry Rollins. In her latest, just-published advice book, If You Ask Me (and Of Course You Won't), White admits that all the TV and Internet love in the past couple of years have led to “Betty White Overdose.” But, really, after more than six decades in show business, who better to dispense words of wisdom than the 89-year-old sitcom legend? White mixes chapters on mostly recent activity — TV Land's Hot in Cleveland, hosting Saturday Night Live — with advice on everything from health and aging to dating and acting. You might be interested to know that she hasn't had a cold in 20 years; needs only four hours of sleep a night; has always preferred older men; and hates red-carpet events. Of course, White also dedicates a few chapters to her love of animals, both real (surprisingly, she only has one pet, a golden retriever) and fake (she has rooms full of stuffed animals and, yes, she talks to them).
