For many people, music has become an undisputed form of solace and expression. It was the same for one of the top 10 finalists of The Voice Season 22, Roberto Gomez, better known as Kique. Music, for him, was a way to showcase his feelings and connect with them harmoniously. However, his experience with the Voice and being a part of #teamgwen was the pivotal point wherein he realized music’s impact on others.
He shares that singing Call Out My Name by The Weeknd on the show resonated with him deeply. Having had the chance to sing this song in front of a huge audience not only showcased his love of performing but also how he was understood by Gwen Stefani. During his time on the show, he felt like his potential was being explored and tapped into at full speed, and his voice was given a chance to grow.
Kique’s experience with The Voice was genuinely riveting. Despite the fact he had to leave for the season, the musical transformation he underwent while growing up under the supervision of artists like Gwen Stefani and connecting with his fellow contestants opened his eyes to the myriad of possibilities ahead.

Optimistic as ever, Kique is ready to take on more musical projects with the same zeal and zest as his performances on The Voice. He recently performed in Maryland with another artist, making it his most outstanding achievement other than performing at The Voice. Moreover, he had the opportunity of performing the American National Anthem at the Miami Heat basketball game.
Little ups and downs are a part of life; how you traverse past these moments and grow matters. While he could not make it to the top on The Voice, he took his shocking elimination as a chance to reevaluate and come back stronger. Kique has gone on to become one of the most loved and praised musicians and is now ready to take on more challenges and projects as he dives deep into the creative world.
