Living in L.A., every once in a while, you pass a site you've never seen that turns out to be amazingly cool. The Velaslavasay Panorama (named partially after artist Sara Velas and featuring her panorama experience “Effulgence of the North” until 2016) is just one of those places. From the 100 year old Union Theater it is housed in to the special exhibits to the cool events and speakers — right through to the wild and wonderful garden in the back — the artist collective behind this space has created one of those unforgettable places right in the middle of old Union Square.
