The ozone layer is a critical component of our planet’s atmosphere. It acts as a barrier, protecting us from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. But for the last several decades, the ozone layer has been depleting due to human activities that release harmful chemicals into the atmosphere. For years, scientists have been trying to figure out if the ozone layer is really healing, and if so, how much of an impact our actions have had in the healing process. We have seen some signs that the ozone layer is beginning to recover, but there is still much to be done to ensure the full recovery of this vital layer of the atmosphere.
