Two Questions: 1. What kind of band would be insane enough to play 10 shows in one day? 2. What kind of band would name themselves The Muslims? Answer: The Soft Pack. This Saturday, the artists-formerly-known-as The Muslims will play 10 shows across the L.A. area. Using FYFest's veggie-oil (aka smelly) bus, The Soft Pack will play shows at house parties, record stores, and even a secret beach party (details via twitter.com/fyffest or twitter.com/thesoftpack ) in a hyperlocal mini tour. The Long Beach howlers Crystal Antlers will join the band (at this great venue called “KEVIN FROM CRYSTAL ANTLERS DAD'S HOUSE”) and Woah Hunx will show up at a Silver Lake house party too. Somewhere, Avi Buffalo will join the brigade too. The showstravaganza precedes the release of their self-tilted debut out on February 2nd, on the awe inspiring Kemado records.
If you're boring or have mono, follow their progress on Twitter, if you're adventuresome follow the party bus on this fantastic voyage.
