Every year, Saveur Magazine comes out with their list of 100 great things in the world of food. In issue 126, just out in newsstands, they've given us the Saveur 100 Reader's Edition, in which readers sent in 1,348 entries from 18 countries and 48 states.

Lists are great, and editor-in-chief James Oseland (for those of you who don't religiously read Saveur, he was a judge on Top Chef Masters) has curated a pretty fun one this year. In no particularly order, we have a catalog that can beat most Top Whatever lists out there: from #27 Crispy Pata (the Filipino dish of fried pig leg), to #48 Chocolate Gravy, to #73 the E. Dehillerin cookware shop in Paris (where Julia used to shop), to #91 the entire state of Wisconsin, to our personal favorite, #98 Jonathan Gold. Would that we all could share a list with an entire upper Midwestern state. Here's the complete story.
