From Jan. 29 through 31, Riot L.A. is taking over a bunch of DTLA venues, plus “the lot,” an arcade/food truck court/physical and philosophical heart of the alt-comedy fest. It's walkable, it's fun and, for the fourth year running, it has a huge lineup of established and up-and-coming comedians from all over the country. This year's big names include Patton Oswalt, of everything fame; raunchy NYC comedian Bridget Everett; T.J. Miller and Kumail Nanjiani from Silicon Valley, 2014 People Issue person Ron Funches; prolific stand-up and podcaster Todd Glass; Jerrod Carmichael of NBC's The Carmichael Show; Lauren Lapkus from Orange Is the New Black; Kurt Braunohler; James Adomian and Kate Berlant (both of whom I've seen and personally think are hilarious); and the list goes on.

Here's the full lineup:

Tickets for the individual shows go on sale at noon on Friday, Dec. 4, but the so-called Superfan Pass is already on sale for $85 (and goes up to $115 on Friday).

And here's a delightfully profane teaser video from Eddie Pepitone and Matt Ingebretson …
