From the reopening of Dog Haus with free hot dogs and the Los Angeles Tea Festival to conversations with Jeff Gordinier and free concerts at the Bloc, here’s what’s popping up in L.A. this week.

Dog Haus Biergarten Old Pasadena is celebrating its reopening with a free Haus Dog Day this Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. Guests who stop by will not only be able to enjoy their new updated interior but they will also get a free Haus Dog from a selection of seven signature creations. However, in order to get your free dog, be sure to download and scan the Dog Haus app to redeem. All hot dogs are handcrafted, all-beef and are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. “We’re thrilled to reopen and show off all of the improvements. Did you know what the world’s most popular drink is? Fun fact, it’s tea, not water. Come celebrate the Los Angeles Tea Festival this weekend 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday in downtown L.A.’s Magic Box @ The Reef. From traditional loose leaf, boba, kombucha or matcha, there is something for everyone. Tea master and creator of the festival, Devan Shah invites you to come sip on top quality tea and engage in community chats and presentations on teas from around the world. Try tea pairings, craft tea-infused cocktails and boba while also enjoying live entertainment. This family friendly festival has over 4,000 attendees. Tickets start at only $5 for certain classes (like a Tea & Yoga course).  I love this so matcha!
