Saturdays and Sundays through May 18, there will be swordfights, games, rides, artisans and of course turkey legs and booze as Irwindale's Santa Fe Recreational Dam is host again to The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire. We slew a giant, threw some dragon eggs, rode a dragon swing, bought a garland from Greenman Florals and enjoyed Steak on a Steak sandwiches with mushrooms and cheese. We also spied some celebrities enjoying the opening weekend as well: Thomas Lennon (Sean Saves the World, Reno 911), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Dracula, The Tudors,) and Mathew Lillard (Scooby Doo) were also in attendance at the Faire.
