Located in the heart of West Hollywood, The castle-like historic landmark that houses the Claire Pettibone collection was built in 1928 for noted muralist Anthony Heinsbergen (1894-1981). Designed by Curlett & Beelman in a Late Gothic Revival and Romanesque style using bricks from the original Los Angeles City Hall, some of the notable features include the prominent cylindrical tower, a Renaissance-style mural in the stone arch, and the hand-painted wood beamed ceiling. Ethereal gowns adorning impeccably poised mannequins, chandeliers gracefully suspended from the intricately detailed ceiling, and antique vessels overflowing with cascading flowers—this space embodies the quintessential haven for discovering your perfect wedding dress. From the very first step through the stone-arched entrance (perhaps preceded by a delightful encounter with the turtles at the koi pond), guests are transported into the expansive salon. It’s a transformative experience, akin to stepping into a dream—a fusion of fairy-tale enchantment, all in the heart of Los Angeles.

With a visit to the castle, brides can now shop the enchanting 2024 collection, “Moonlight Reverie.” Drawing inspiration from the mystical realms of faeries, enchanted forests, intricate floral embroidery, glistening crystals, and whimsical details, this ethereal assortment of couture gowns is designed to transport brides. The collection embraces a subtle palette of colors that adds a touch of magic to each gown. The gowns are all handmade in Claire’s Los Angeles Castle, also known as her atelier where the finest silks and Parisian laces are all made exclusively for the fashion house.
