Downtown L.A. got down with the funk on Saturday, Nov. 4, for Modern Funk Fest DJ Summit at the Regent Theater. With an all-star lineup of West Coast DJs, including members of Funkmosphere, Sweater Funk and Girls Gone Vinyl, spinning electro, funk and breakbeats on vinyl, and dancers showing off their B-boy moves, the Regent looking almost like a scene from the movie Beat Street.
