Blank Theater Company hosts the 27th annual L.A. Weekly Theater Awards on Monday, April 10, at the Music Box @ Fonda, 6126 Hollywood Boulevard (near Gower). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The evening is adapted from Blank Theater Company’s hit production of Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe’s pre-Crash, Algonquin-era musical, Wild Party.

Presenters include Sally Kellerman, Valarie Pettiford, Daisy Eagan, Jane Lanier, Eric Anderson, Michael Kostroff, Sasha Wexler, James Black, Julie Dixon Jackson, Daren Herbert, Nathan Lee Graham, Kristen Benton Chandler, James Black, Sam Zeller and more.

This year’s Lawees honor production excellence in Los Angeles theaters of 99 seats or less, between January 1 and December 31, 2005.

Tickets for nominees are free; all guests, $15.

The nominees will be announced at laweekly.com on February 8, and in the printed edition of the L.A. Weekly on February 9. That announcement will include an information telephone line and how to acquire tickets.
