The Contenders screening series of Oscar-worthy cinema continues with The Imitation Game. It’s the sad-but-true story of Cambridge mathematician Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch), who broke the previously impervious Nazi Enigma encryption codes with the help of brilliant brains played by Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Rory Kinnear. No stranger to secrets himself, Turing gave his country his all, only to have it turn around on him — something you can ask more about during the post-screening Q&A with director Morten Tyldum and screenwriter Graham Moore.
